OTK’s Mizkif, Esfand and Emiru take over convenience store in South Korea

OTK members Mizkif, Esfand and guest AustinShow briefly took over fellow streamer HAchubby’s convenience store in Busan, South Korea during a show today.

Several members of esports organization and streaming collective OTK recently visited South Korea and have already flooded fans with content. In their first two days alone, the band was greeted by countless fans, Esfand was rushed to the ER, and Mizkif was mocked by locals for his poor drumstick skills.

During their last stream, South Korean streamer HAchubby handed over the keys to her convenience store, HAchu Mart, for a short stream. Dressed in HAchu Mart gear, Mizkif, Esfand, Emiru and AustinShow ran the store for about two hours.

Just over 40 minutes into the stream, the OTK gang finally made their first sale. Although celebrating their achievements in retail as traffic slowly began to pick up later in the stream, HAchu Mart customers began to appear more wary. Several sales in the stream, several customers slowly revealed themselves to be HAchubby’s cousins. Unaware of the fact, however, OTK employees continued their work.

It wasn’t until the end of the stream that the convenience store owner revealed that all but the last customer were all of his relatives. Shocked, Esfand and AustinShow said they sincerely believe they are doing a good job selling to HAchu Mart customers.

Although the hard work of the OTK members ended up being a thinly veiled facade, neither Mizkif nor the rest of the temporary employees held it against HAchu. The team went out to dinner soon after and continued their trek around Busan.
